Sara Lewis is a lifelong creative who recently began exploring art as a way to process difficult experiences and reconnect with herself. Her work is guided by a simple goal: to make art that makes her—and hopefully others—smile. Sara’s work is playful, curious, and happily hard to categorize. She loves combining paint, texture, collage, found objects, and upcycled materials—especially things that already have a little history of their own. She approaches each piece with a willingness to experiment, make a mess, and see where the process leads. A lifelong passion for community service and volunteering is also woven into Sara’s creative life. She regularly uses her art and creativity to host fundraisers supporting causes that are meaningful to her, finding ways for creativity to connect people and give back to the community she calls home.
